In 1952, the McKeon brothers obtain the Pepsi franchise for the Pipestone territory and created the Pepsi Cola Bottling Co of Pipestone, MN. The first year, we sold 46,000 cases with 1-2 trucks on the road. In 1984, the beer distribution was sold off. In 1996, we moved into the current warehouse with a 4,000 square feet addition made in 2022 for a total of 30,000 square feet.

 

Our franchise area currently covers 125,000 people in the following counties: Pipestone, Rock, Nobles, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine, Redwood, Lac Que Parle and Cottonwood in Minnesota and Brookings County in South Dakota.  We now employ approximately 35 people with 8-9 routes on the road every day, selling well over a million cases per year.
